Hi there! I'm so glad you're here. The Ark Studio is where creativity and the incredible natural world collide to make beautiful works of art.

Who am I?

I, Heather B. Jackson, began my creative journey at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, where I studied creative writing and discovered my voice through poetry and fiction. Those years shaped how I see the world—earning multiple awards taught me that storytelling is at the heart of everything I create.

I went on to graduate with a BFA in Film Production from SUNY Purchase, where I learned to blend visual artistry with narrative. In recent years, I've focused my creative work on photography and painting, bringing together my background in visual storytelling with hands-on artistic expression.

What We Do

At The Ark Studio, we specialize in art work that tells a story. I produce my art from my environment and every day experiences that I have on my horse farm where I also teach horseback riding. My goal with the Ark Studio is to not only produce my own work but also help guide other creators to a deeper connection with animals and nature. Our creativity workshops and individual creativity lessons are about building inspiration and community that accounts for the natural world.
